Michael is known for his innovative spirit. He’s a key force in the SF Bay Area Maker Movement and has been teaching design-thinking at Stanford’s d.school for the last 4 years. One of the many ways Michael applies his experience and passion for innovation, is by teaching the design-thinking process to awaken creativity in executive teams. Michael facilitates workshops to large audiences from China, Turkey, India and others from around the world. These groups are tackling challenges like organizational development, program and facility design, marketing, brand development, management and UX design. Michael’s workshops help maximize their innovation potential and become more effective leaders. Using design-thinking strategies like need-finding, storytelling, prototyping and empathy mapping, Michael teaches executive teams how to engage more actively and creatively with their users, sharing new, collaborative approaches that transform behavior, solve problems and invent new paradigms for success.
